Library

The SAPD library contains over 600 items almost entirely related to Southern Alberta History and mostly donated by SAPD members. The library collection is non-circulating, but members of the public are welcome to access the collection with prior notice.

Many of the items available have been catalogued in our online Catalog.

The Memorial Building is generally open to the public on Mondays from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Special access to the collection by appointment can be arranged by emailing president@pioneersalberta.org.

Donations

The Southern Alberta Pioneers and their Descendants gratefully accept donations of library materials that are related to the Early History of Southern Alberta and, in particular, to the experiences of pioneers to this region.
